Privacy Policy

What data nuwex.cc stores, why, and who it is shared with. This describes how the site actually works — nothing more.

Accounts are created and signed in with Discord. From Discord we receive and store:

• your Discord ID, username, email and a link to your avatar.

We don't store Discord access tokens. You can also set a password in your settings — it is stored only as a hash (bcrypt), never in readable form.

• Username, display name, email, sign-up date and account number (UID).
• Everything you fill in on the dashboard: bio, location, occupation, colors, effects, links, templates and widget settings (e.g. a GitHub name or a Discord ID for your status).
• Files you upload: background, avatar, banner, music, covers, cursor and fonts.
• Your badges, Premium and any ban including its reason.

Your profile is public. Anything you put on it can be seen by anyone with the link. Uploaded files have a public address.

So you can see stats for your profile, for every view we store:

• the time, the site the visitor came from (e.g. instagram.com), device type, browser and country;
• an anonymous visitor ID — a fingerprint made from the IP address and browser. The IP address itself is not stored.

For link clicks we only store the time and which link was clicked.

• Sign-in history: time, sign-in method and browser — you can see it in your account settings.
• Profile reports: reason, text and the reporter's account (if signed in, otherwise anonymous).
• Staff actions (bans, content removal…) are written to an internal log.

We only use necessary cookies — no third-party advertising or analytics cookies:

• sign-in (keeps you signed in) and the sign-in library's technical cookies;
• lang — the site language you picked, kept for 1 year;
• a short cookie during sign-up (10 minutes) that holds the username you picked while you're on Discord.

• Discord — sign-in; our bot reads your roles on the nuwex.cc server for badges, Premium and team access to the admin panel, plus your avatar and avatar decoration.
• Vercel Blob — storage for uploaded files.
• Our own server (VPS) — the database with accounts, profiles and stats.
• Lanyard — if you use the Discord status widget, the visitor's browser fetches your current status using your Discord ID.
• Google Fonts and Fontshare — fonts; the visitor's browser downloads them directly, so they see the visitor's IP address.
• GitHub, Mojang (Minecraft), Chess.com and Roblox — for widgets, our server fetches public data for the name you enter.

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

We keep data for as long as you have an account. Stats and sign-in history aren't deleted automatically yet. When an account is deleted, its profile, links, badges, widgets, templates, stats and uploaded files go with it.

• You can view and change most of your data yourself on the dashboard.
• You can delete your account yourself in the dashboard under Account & login → Delete account. A copy of your data is available on request via Discord.
• You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing.
• You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (same as Discord).

Questions and requests are handled on our Discord server. If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
